Super soft
Perfect for keeping a soft natural fiber against sensitive skin. Soft, absorbent, and natural. Couldn’t ask for more.
Absorbent Liners
I use the Esembly diaper system, but they didn't offer overnight absorbent liners that were 100% organic cotton alone (they only have organic cotton with a polyester fleece stay-dry layer on top). Since I want to avoid using polyester on my baby's delicate skin, I took to researching and discovered Thirsties Cotton Doublers. The Newborn Thirsties Doublers are a perfect fit for the Esembly Size 1 Inners, and the Small Thirsties Doublers fit the Esembly Size 2 Inners. As a bonus, the Thirsties Doublers are less expensive than the Esembly brand's version! Thank you for providing an affordable, organic cotton, polyester-free overnight diaper liner, Thirsties! I will be purchasing more in the future!
Thin but absorbent
Loving these! We’ve officially switched all our liners to Thirsties brand. Ordered the cotton doublers to layer over their hemp/cotton liners. Makes for an absorbent diaper that isn't overly bulky.
Still the best
Thirsties continues to have the most intelligently designed product and the least intelligently placed tagging. Please stop punching (or allowing your supplier to punch) a hole in the cotton doublers. Anyone who uses these products knows the natural fibers break down over time anyway and starting with a hole it in brand new is problematic.
If I could create a diaper
I bought all sizes of Thirstys diapers because the shells and inserts are the best. You only have to wash the inserts and they are cotton and or hemp so they breathe unlike the polyester kind which You also have to wash the whole diaper. The newborn insert size is so small that it leaks around the edges. I therefore use the extra small inserts in the newborn size diaper. I feel they should re-create the newborn inserts. They are way too small. And the Velcro design rubs up against the baby skin If you don’t attach the Velcro to smallest size.
I really like these. They dry …
I really like these. They dry VERY fast, and are a trim addition to a night time diaper. I try to stuff 20+ oz capacity in a night diaper, and these add enough that there are still dry portions in the morning. I use a small Thirsties hemp Prefold and 2 of these on my nearly three year old, 33 lb Niagara Falls wetter. At changes, I find the very back is usually dry.. I usually change this diaper once during the night. I prefer the hemp inserts if I'm very tired and think I may not budge at night, Because the hemp CAN wait till morning. But they take longer to dry, so I've been sticking with cotton as much as possible: These dry in slightly less time than the small hemp prefolds in my experience. Also, because they are knit, there are NEVER compression leaks with this insert. If it absorbs, it stays. It may leak if there is more liquid than capacity, but it won't leak if there is enough diaper for the liquid. I stick these under cotton prefolds as well to help contain compression leaks. Thanks again for another WELL MADE and VERY FUNCTIONAL product. I look forward to many years of service from the product with the next kiddo. My hemp prefolds are almost 3 years win and they are better than they were new.
